Dancehall performer Jupitar mentioned several Ga-speaking performers when he launched into a Twitter tirade, alleging that some Ghanaian media outlets do not fully back them.

Some social media users criticized his remark and disproved the assertion that Shatta is adored.

However, Jupitar has stuck to his story and emphasized that, contrary to what the media is portraying, Shatta Wale’s followers are what are driving the success of his music and career.

“I was ridiculed for including King Promise and Shatta Wale’s names in my list of artists who don’t receive support,” the speaker stated in a statement to 3MusicNetworks. Don’t deceive yourself—Shatta is receiving positive press.
