Photos go viral as a mother saves her baby out of the window of a burning apartment

A brave mother who was moved by her love and her instinct to save her 1-year-old baby has won the hearts of many people around the world.

In a picture that was shared on social media, this brave woman who was trapped in a building that was in flames decided to throw her baby out through the window to be caught by bystanders.

The woman identified as Vanessa Scott has been applauded for thinking it wise to help her baby catch her breath.

The crowd then used a sheet to apprehend the woman’s baby. The child survived, but Vanessa was unable to escape through the window.

Firefighters discovered her unconscious beside the window. She died later in the hospital.
