What is eSIM?

eSIM (embedded SIM) is a type of SIM card that is built directly into a device, rather than being a physical card that can be removed and inserted.

This allows users to activate a mobile phone plan or change carriers without the need to physically swap SIM cards.

eSIM technology is becoming more widely available in smartphones and other devices, such as smartwatches and tablets.
